Slates PrimeTime Racing 2010 League Rules

Season is split into two half's consisting of 18 weeks each
League dues are $100.00 ($50.00 per half)
You must play both halves - Dues can be paid in whole or half but must be paid by the third week of each half
Dues are split for the season payouts
$40.00 from each half goes into the half season pot
$10.00 from each half goes into the champion’s pot
Top 10 places payout for each half
Points reset to zero after week 18

One league champion will be paid at the end of the season
League champion is based on total points for the entire season
Each team will have an initial salary cap of $160,000 at the beginning of the season

Each driver is assigned a salary, initially using last year’s standings
Salary’s adjust after week 10 and continue to be adjusted throughout the season.
Minimum Driver Salary is $10,000
Each franchise will draft 5 DRIVERS (Not Car’s) using the salary cap
Your starting lineup for each race must consist of five drivers
You can change your team anytime during the season, but must stay at or below the salary cap.

You must select your starting lineup before official race qualifying. Should one of your drivers fail to qualify, you are SOL. If you don't submit a starting line up for that week’s race, your pervious week’s lineup will be used.

You can select your starting line up online or by using our “Lineup Entry Form”. Starting line ups can be submitted online, in person, called in or emailed to Josh or Steve.

The game is based on points given to each driver at the end of the race and are given by NASCAR under official results. Bonus points are awarded to the driver that leads the most laps (5 points - 1 driver) and for any driver who leads at least one lap in any race. (5 points - any driver) The first place finisher of each race can gain a possible point total of 190 points.

Official results are usually posted by Wednesday following the race, or as soon as NASCAR posts them.

Penalty points do apply, should NASCAR penalized a driver, those points will be also be deducted from your driver’s points. Penalty points can be assessed after the official results are posted. This rule does not apply to the weekly side bet pot, since penalty points can be made weeks after the race is complete.


ANY DISPUTES OR ISSUES NOT COVERED HERE WILL BE UP TO THE COMMISSIONERS TO RULE ON. IF THE DISPUTE INVOLVES A COMMISSIONERS TEAM, THE TOP FIVE TEAMS IN TOTAL POINTS WILL VOTE TO DECIDE.

ANY TEAMS WITH DISPUTES OR ISSUES MUST NOTIFY THE COMMISSIONERS WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE RACE. AFTER 3 DAYS, THE RESULTS BECOME OFFICIAL.
